Caution: Show Dogs bumper stickers
I think any bumper sticker in small print is an invitation to tailgaters. People have to get close enough to read it, after all.

I’ve always interpreted the “caution: show dogs” stickers as meaning, “caution: self-absorbed, overwrought driver.” It’s nice they think to warn the rest of us. So many don’t. :D
HA HA HA HA HA, thank you!

I always thought that “My show dog is smarter than your honor student” would make more sense.

Since this thread has risen from the grave, I wanted to add a comment. The attention whoring, not the showing, is what I find ludicrous. My grandparents were seriously into showing. They had their own breeding line. They had pictures of their dogs and kept trophies of the wins they were most proud of at home. However, they did not slap stickers all over their cars. If you were serious about dogs you already knew who they were. If you weren’t into dogs, they weren’t going to puff up like peacocks and display to you.

Slight derail- you can show guinea pigs? Must share this info with guinea pig loving co-worker (though she doesn’t seem the showing type).
Oh, yes indeed! It’s more popular in the British Isles (by far) than here, but I assure you there is an entire cadre of people out there who are extremely concerned with breeding the fanciest Tortoiseshell Satin Teddy that ever lived, for example. Folks go just as nuts over pig breeding as dog and cat and people do, believe it or not. I am a long-time guinea pig lover and owner but have never been to or seen a show (other than the county fair 4-H kids) but I do know they exist. One of these days I’ll check one out!
