CBD cream use on horses?

Hi - just wondering if anyone has used CBD cream on their horses. Were they more comfortable or did you feel there was no difference. Looking for practical experiences and opinions.
Thanks

What are you trying to treat? How do you understand CBS oil to treat that specific problem?

Thinking about trying CBD cream on small area of back. Reading that it can help with soreness. I know what the issue is and he will have it taken care of soon but just wondering if anyone has used it and what, if any, results they had.

Without any solid science behind CBD as a pain reliever, and with no oversight of manufacture you’ll never know how much/what quality your CBD product has, I’d select a different topical to treat a horse. But that’s just my opinion!

My feeling too. CBD is being touted as Magickal All-purpose Kure. I’m sure it has some useful medical qualities but there’s nothing in existence that has as many disparate medical functions as the hype around CBD claims to

Thanks for your opinions- this is exactly why I came here with my question. I would like to see some sort of proof or anecdotal evidence. I read hemp cream has so many other natural ingredients, it would be hard to tell which, if any, might help. CBD is hard to find in cream & don’t know if rubbing the oil on would do anything more than ruin a saddle pad.
I guess I could run down to a local Cannabis store & check it out : )

I think even in humans CBD cream tends to be more bologna than real. So often it’s combined with other products that have a tingling or warming effect so how much is the other ingredients ga general placebo, who even knows.

For a sore equine back I think a good body worker and some robaxin is a much more proven method than smearing on some cream with questionable ingredients.
