DRESSAGE TEAM COMPETITIONS
CDCTA will sponsor up to 2 teams each at upcoming USDF Region I Adult and Junior/Yr team competitions scheduled at nearby facilities in July. These competitions are great fun and we urge you to consider participation. Our teams have been highly competitive in past years.
The USDF Region I Adult Team Competition will be held as part of the PVDA Summer Showdown at the Prince Georges Equestrian Center on July 7 & 8. The closing date is June 15. The team competition is part of a USEF licensed show. USEF membership and horse registration requirements do apply. Your CDCTA group membership will cover your USDF member requirements. If you want to participate, please notify Emmett Turner, CDCTA VP for Dressage promptly at turnermaew@aol.com. Show information and entry forms are available at www.PVDA.org. CDCTA will pay individual entry fees for the team rides. All other costs are the responsibility of the participant.
The Junior/YR Team Competition will be held at Morven Park on July 28 & 29. This is a not a USEF recognized show and rider membership and horse registration requirements do not apply. Again, if you want to participate, please notify Emmett Turner, CDCTA VP for Dressage promptly at turnermaew@aol.com. Show information and entry forms can be downloaded at www.Region1YT.info. CDCTA will pay individual entry fees for team rides. All other costs are the responsibility of the participant. It should be noted that the show dates are the same weekend as the USPC National Championships at the Virginia Horse Center.
