I’m looking for ceiling fans for our small indoor arena (64’ x 136’). It seems like Big Ass Fans are highly recommended, but they are pricey and not rated for outdoor use. I prefer outdoor-rated fans so I can gently hose them off when they get dirty, but could live with indoor-rated fans. Any recommendation on quiet, reliable, BIG fans?
If you have windows along the walls, I would recommend an exhaust fan on the ridge or the gable ends.
All a Big Ass Fan does is move the air…and probably move all the hot air that has collected at the ceiling down making for a hot building.
An exhaust fan will exhaust the hot air and create an “induced” breeze.
You can search for these fans in agricultural supply houses for livestock ventilation…farmerboyag has some.
