Looking for some kind of cell phone holder that will fit a wider belt while I’m riding. My Otterbox holster does not fit around the wider belt; I bought a huge holster from Home Depot designed for construction workers, and it does fit on the belt…but it’s giant and unwieldy and catches on EVERYTHING. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!
I have the De Bin case from Amazon and it fits my iPhone 11 well. It’s < $10, but it’s held up better than some cases marketed specifically for equestrians. I can put it on my 2” belt and it’s very stable.
I use the Griffin Survivor line of cases and have not yet met a belt too wide for their belt clip.
The Survivor also protected my phone when it fell out of my pocket and my horse cantered over it. Twice. Two different occasions. Phone was fine, but this is why I use the belt clip.
I highly recommend this product.
I also bought one off Amazon. It’s called “MAXGOODS Tactical Molle Military Pouch Smartphone Holster”. It’s a very tough fabric case with a buckle (not velcro) to make sure your phone won’t fall out. I really like that there are two straps with snaps, so you can easily put it on your belt and take it off without having to undo your belt and take it out of the beltloops.

I have been using it daily for over a year, hacking, dressage, jumping, hunter pace, etc, and finally one of the snaps pulled out of the fabric (I haven’t treated them well and pretty much just rip the case off my belt when I get in my car). I used Gorilla Glue to fix it so hopefully it will hold - otherwise I will order another. For about $15 (Canadian) it’s worth the money.
Check out Teletotes.com. I don’t have an Otter Box but mine fits my IPhone in its case and attaches to my TS breeches. I love it!

The “Molle” strap system is what you like about it, those are the straps that allow you to attach it to a “Tac(tical) Pack” pretty much anywhere.

I had the Blackknight wristlet, which was considerably higher priced than non-equestrian options. I gave it away for two reasons:

The snap came undone EVERY time I put it on a thicker belt.

The zipper broke within a few months of using it with an iPhone 11, which was well within the specs.
It was lovely and I so wanted it to work, but it didn’t make the grade for me.
Wow - thanks for sharing! I love the look of these but for the price point I would expect for it to last. I have the Pro Max, which is a gigantic phone, so I doubt mine would fare much better.
Also had trouble with the Blacknight wristlet. The zipper kept opening while riding and my phone fell to the ground many times. I had to use duct tape to keep it closed. Too expensive to malfunction like that.
It was a gift and when my friend saw me having to use the duct tape she asked the seller to replace it. She had to pay half price again for the replacement, which then did the exact same thing.
I think that officially qualifies as a customer service fail. Wow.
I ride with a Flipbelt running belt. I have not had any issues fitting my phones into it (Samsung S8 or S10+ in cases).
