Long time lurker, first time poster! Moving to the Monmouth county area. From what I’ve heard, there’s a ton of barns so it seems that I’ll have plenty to chose from! Looking for somewhere that goes to to a variety of shows, I’ll be starting out slow with my horse, maybe some rated stuff for the rest of this year. Once we’re settled in I’d like to chose a final or two to work towards and do some bigger shows. I do want something with a pretty laid back atmosphere though, and I don’t have a huuge budget (would like to stay under $1200/mo). DD has a horse as well, so a place with kids would be fun. Indoor a must and one that isn’t the size of a shoebox would be nice 
Obviously looking for a place with excellent care as well.

Four Seasons in Pittstown has an excellent program, and they go to a variety of shows. Everything from local shows to Devon and Capital Challenge. They really customize to suit the client and the horse.

I ride at Best Chance Farm in Farmingdale–based on what you’ve described you need I think it would be a perfect fit. Plenty of adults and kids showing at all levels, from A-level to schooling shows. Barn also does a week up in Vermont. PM me for more info. I love it there!
