According to a report by the Toronto Star, thoroughbred Sans Sousi may be disqualified from its victory last night after it was found that top Woodbine Racetrack jockey Chantal Sutherland mistakenly used what is now considered a banned racing crop during the contest.
Sutherland’s crop violation came during what was the first Woodbine card contested under new Ontario Racing Commission rules. Earlier this week, Woodbine jockeys discussed the changes.
According to the Toronto Star story, Sutherland accepting full responsibility for the costly mix-up. “It was totally my fault, I forgot,” she was quoted as saying.

I’m guessing it’s all about the money. I havent followed racing in years so I havent a clue of this Chantal that you all speak of. From someone who spent some time in fashion, all I can say is that it has to be the money. Models make good money on campaigns and they make mega bucks when they strip down. If she is “modeling” for the money and riding for “love” then I would assume that she got payed a truck load more to be “nekkid” for the love of money. The photo op has not only payed her considerably (i can only imagine) but it has added to her fame which in turn will help her make even more cash off of her name alone. If she had taken that picture in silks, I would still have no idea who she was. Do I think it is tacky? In a word: yes, however, if she is ok with the negative attention that she might receive from doing this, still has a passion for her career and is still succesful on top of all of that, then I am ok with it too. I say “whatever with it and buy your horsey some extra carrots”.

Haha, I never see Stevens below that desk he sits behind on tv. But how is it that he’s half bald, and now I know about the beer belly, yet I’m still tempted? Aaron Gryder is a cutie. I could do that.
Unfortunately I think Gomez looks like a troll and I have plenty of love for a Louisiana boy, but Albarado isn’t high up on my list either.
