I have two Charles Ancona show coats size 00 for Pony Finals but both pair have too long sleeves. I’m looking for a very good tailor to shorten the sleeves. Located in Delaware, so anyone east coast US and I would ship if needed. The sleeves need to be shortened ~ .75 inch. I need the coat altered asap so recommendations would be of great help! TIA!

Mine have always been done by my dry-cleaners or a local seamstress that does bridal gowns. Usually a lot cheaper than equestrian people.

Agree. Shortening sleeve length is a pretty straightforward, basic task for a seamstress or tailor. Start with your neighborhood dry cleaners. If no luck, do a Google search. Someone near you has to work on wedding gowns, prom dresses and business suits.

Where in DE? I am in Salisbury and the lady in the Salisbury mall did a beautiful job tailoring my dress for Upperville leadline this year, amongst some other jobs for us. If you’re in Sussex or Kent it wouldn’t be that far out of the way for you.
