Since this is helmet sale eve, I am debating on which one to get. I’ve ridden in the Pro II for several years and really like it. I see that “peanut head” sizes are now available in the 4Star. Should I stick with the II or go for the 4Star. The drawbacks I keep reading about the 4Star are being round and bulky. I really like the safety features of the 4Star, but don’t want to look my head is bigger than my body! Thanks for all input!
I did not buy the 4star after reading the reviews on SmartPak. My understanding is that it has not sold well and the Pro II is preferred. I replaced my Pro II with another Pro II this spring for that reason.
I think the 4Star is very “large.” and may not fit as well.
Thanks-that’s what I wanted to know. I had read the reviews at SP also. I will just stick with a new Pro II.
I didn’t realize that CO had come out with peanut sizes in the 4Star. It was way to big for me when I looked at them when they first came out so I stayed with the Pro II. But, just looking at them and trying on the smallest they had it was way more “round” than the Pro II.
I think peanut heads may just have to stay with the Pro II for now!
