We bred our 3 year old Westpoint filly last year with one dose of Charmeur frozen semen that I purchased from Judy Yancey. We had a successful embryo transfer and the foal is due in early April. The quality of the semen was excellent and I purchased more last fall for future use. I was quite impressed by Charmeur at Verden last August and I suspect that we will hear much more about him in the years to come.
I recently spoke with the KWPN-NA office and they told me that there are three Charmeur foals expected in 2013 from Dutch mares. I can’t wait to see them all.
Good morning, I am an admirer of Charmeur also, was scared of the semen quality so I purchased a mare from Holland in foal to Charmeur. She delivered an awesome filly (Illianna) and they are being shipped to Canada shortly with the mare back in foal to Charmeur. I would love to see photos of the Charmeur foals if anyone would post. I am more than willing to do the same but cant see how to do it. any suggestions?
I’ve seen a few on Facebook this spring…it is a great place for sharing foal pictures. His semen is nothing to fear…been working for a lot of people. Congratulations!
