Chasing Yesterday wins first G1

NIce!

“Bred in Kentucky by her owner, Chasing Yesterday is out of the Yankee Gentleman mare Littleprincessemma. Lyon purchased the mare for $2.1 million at the 2014 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Mixed Sale, and Chasing Yesterday was her 2016 foal. The filly has now won four of her five career starts, earning $324,250.”

Littleprincessemma has certainly proved herself to be no slouch as a broodmare.

5 runners, 5 winners, 1 Triple Crown winner, another G1 winner, two other stakes-placed runners, and the first was at least able to cut it in allowance company at his best.

I hope the family leaves their mark on the pedigrees of horses for the next century!

Lovely filly. What a good race.

She has Pharoah’s demeanor. Which means they must be getting that from PrincessEmma as Tapit’s are known to be feisty brutes. She has a lot of heart. Hope we see her in Kentucky in May

I’m wondering what she would have brought at the sale should they have sold her the following year.

Littleprincessemma was already named Broodmare of the Year before Chasing Yesterday got to the races. Don’t think they can win it twice, but she’d be a prime candidate if so.
