WOW!! Just WOW!!
I’d like to see the description on the registration papers for that one!
I love his face!
I would say in combination with the white legs and belly, this is the Splash gene at work? Just gorgeous!
First of all, what a beautiful foal and what attractive markings! Thank you for that, Equibrit!
Second, that photo made me curious so I googled around and discovered that that type of reverse blaze is called a badger face. If you google (Images) “horse, badger face” you will see all kinds of interesting markings:
WOW, that is gorgeous.
Commonly known as Badger Face. If memory serves caused by splash and other white patterns combined and an occluding mark. This colt doesn’t appear to be just splash since the white on his legs isn’t smooth. Of course I could be wrong, it’s been a long week and my memory could be a bit off…
Thanks petey and jvanrens! What is the foal’s breeding?
Someone in the comments said he was a QH with San Peppy breeding.
