Hi ya’ll-
I’m a 20 something hunter/jumper rider that is moving to Chester County in about two months. I have a quirky but talented OTTB gelding that I’ll be bringing with me and I’m looking for the right situation for him. He needs a LOT of turnout and free choice hay when he’s inside as he’s not an easy keeper. He’s got great ground manners and doesn’t have any bad stall habits. We compete mostly in jumpers but dabble in hunters too. Great Scott Farm was suggested to me by a friend but I don’t know much about the facility or the trainers. Anyone have any insight on if it might be a great match for us? Please feel free to send me a private message. Thanks everyone, Benji and I appreciate it!
Hi!
I am the trainer at Great Scott Farm, which I run with my husband. I am happy that someone referred you to our barn, and would love to invite you to stop by to check us out in person at your convenience.
We we work with many OTTBS and have many who have gone on to be great show/pleasure horses for people. If you would like, I can provide you with some references from
former and current clients, our veterinarian, fellow professionals, etc.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly at 610-256-2119, via email lindsaygsf@gmail.com, or through our website, http://www.greatscottfarm.com
Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks so much Lindsay! I will reach out to you via email shortly!
I know you’re touching base with Lindsay by email but I just wanted to say it’s a fabulous place.
I was a boarder there first. Then I filled in and taught lessons. Then I moved to my own barn and came back to show at their jumper shows. This year I sent horses over for training twice.
In short, over the 6+ years that I have been around I have nothing but great things to say about being at Gsf.

I recently started riding with Lindsay and really like her and the facility! When I’m ready to start horse shopping again I’ll absolutely board my pony there. The other boarders/riders I’ve met out there have been lovely as well. Can’t say enough great things!
The only time I was there was as a guest of Xcntrygirl, but I was impressed with the facility and the property. When I was there, they had two outdoor rings and an indoor. The stalls were nice and the pastures looked great. It’s TB country in that area so Lindsay has plenty of experience with them,
