Chevaroo Bras

Yup, another chat about our lingerie. I’ve gotten lots of ads from a company called Chevaroo; they make an “extreme” bra similar to the SheFit. I decided to try it and found it not to my liking. Well, I had not read the fine print, and they say NO RETURNS. This is a public service announcement for you who shop online for this sort of thing. Everyone else will allow a return of a new item with tags; not Chevaroo. Caveat emptor!

Thank you!

Sigh… :disappointed:
I came here to praise Timberland boots.
They had a Free Replacement program.
No questions asked, no receipt required.
I got hiking boots replaced twice this way.
Brand new boots sent for wornout pairs mailed to Timberland. So my cost only 1-way shipping.
Sadly, Google says since company was sold in 2011, policy is now Replace if defective in 30 days

I did not intend that this discussion be generally about returnable items, not relevant to riding. I was simply trying to point towards one product which has been marketed as equestrian – specific, and to warn you off of wasting money on that, if it doesn’t fit.

So you’re kicking me off the thread? I’ll delete my previous post but I thought you understood that conversations on here go down many roads.

I’m kicking anyone off anything! No malice intended. I was just clarifying that my post was about something specifically equestrian-related, and the topic of this board is generally intended to be just that.

99% of things are returnable (as it should be). I was warning about one thing that has been aggressively marketed as something for RIDING, but is not returnable.

Maybe you should cross post on Off Topic, your title confused me because I was wondering what bras had to do with the H/J forum.

I thought everything was returnable if unworn/unused with tags on, thanks for the warning. In fact I’ve bought two bras from different companies and when I wanted to return them, unworn, I was told to just donate them and a credit was immediately issued. That is becoming more commonplace now.

I looked at their website. They offer 90 day returns in original condition. Further down- WAY down- it says sale items are not returnable.

I think no returns on sale items is very common. Many online retailers don’t allow returns of sale/clearance merchandise.

And I don’t feel like the “sale items aren’t returnable” is somehow hidden “way down the page.” Click on “Return Policy” and it takes you to a page with 8 paragraphs/sections, each one clearly identified with a heading in larger bold type. The policy on returns of sale items is #7, followed by returns of gift items in section #8. There was no “fine print” or effort to hide the rules.

I ran into the same thing with She Fit once. I ordered one full price item and one sale item. The sale item was a style I hadn’t tried before. I didn’t care for it, but it was not returnable because it was on sale. So it’s hardly fair for the OP to complain about Chevaroo when their policy is consistent with many other online retailers.

Mine was not a sale item; it was full-price.

They quoted me this:
Important Note : For hygiene reasons, certain items such as underwear are non-returnable.”

I took “underwear” to mean their panties. I understand that not being returnable. But you can return a bra to any place, anytime, as long as it is still brand new with tags attached.

I’m just trying to help someone else avoid an expenditure that cannot be recouped if the product is not as expected., That’s all.

I appreciate that…and meant my post above to be supportive. I also thought they meant panties…would never have guessed bras. That policy needs to be rewritten for clarity.

Why didn’t you just say that in the first place? It would have avoided all this discussion based on incorrect assumptions.

Since I’m always on the hunt for a supportive riding bra with straps that won’t slide down, I checked these out. They look tortuous. I would think that all those straps, hooks and Velcro would be worse than wearing a pair of cheap splint boots all day. And the front zipper? Ugh. I can understand why they’re on sale at 1/3 off.

It’s no wonder they aren’t returnable. They don’t want them back.

I bet you are right! And, you made me laugh out loud. Thank you!

You are right, I did not look at the website and I forgot about sales items, often they are final sale.

This. H/J people aren’t the only ones who wear bras!
