My Doberman (puppy from the hot place) likes to eat beds. If he was the only dog I had I would just not allow him a bed, but I have two other dogs that need the comfort of a bed. So any recommendation for a very chew resistant bed?
kong makes a bed and my very aggressive pittie mix puppy could not tear it. I got mine at petsmart, but the one they are selling now is not exactly the same.
I just had to let my dog grow up and out of the habit.

They have a 1200D that is pretty durable (That fabric is also used in their horse blankets). My mom has 7 large dogs (Pit, Collie X, Rotti X, Chesapeake, Golden, Lab, Pointer) and 2 of the XL plaid beds. They have yet to tear them up (and they play rough!). She puts hers outside on the deck because they seem to hold up to the constant wet/muddy dogs (kiddie pools always full) . I have one on order for my new Pointer (he’s already eaten 2 fleece beds).
Kuranda beds!! They not only are “chew proof” but if your dog does destroy it they replace it!! They are’t the squishy type, but because they are elevated they still offer great support. I just throw a fleece blanket over mine if I want it to look “pretty” for company.

Shelters I volunteer at use them. The PVC legs are not indestructible but the ‘hammock’ part is difficult to get a tooth-hold.
If you had someone handy they could make the frame and you could fasten the cloth on it. Even better if they have metal skills they could make metal legs! Dobie won’t chew those!

4th vote for Kuranda. My little girl obliterated the Kong bed in a matter of minutes. Kuranda is really the only “chew-proof” dog bed. Some dogs never grow out of their want to shred. Mine are 2-1/2 years old, and they still enjoy shredding or “killing” their beds. That’s why they only have beds outside of their crates and are monitored. (And they both get plenty of exercise and daily enrichment!)
