Chewy --New Customer

Yes… I have been buying my dog’s food from Tractor Supply lately, because the last order from Chewy took 10 days to get here!

I ordered from Chewy for the convenience, but, that time I had to go and purchase dog and, cat food, from tractor supply.

I don’t trust it will get here in a timely manner, now, so I’ve only been using it for treats and such, things that don’t matter if I don’t get them on time.

Yes, it’s FedEx, not Chewy. The FedEx drivers here are so rude, the one that comes here, never makes eye contact or, speaks, even though I always say, “thank you, have a nice day!”

Several of my boxes are damaged, too…not by FedEx, though…if a Chewy box is delivered and, my dog is outside, he’ll rip it to shreds.

I have to bring in the box before he sees them! LOL…

I have been using Chewy for almost 4 years since I moved to a tiny town that has limited options (population 1,200). Unless I want to overpay and buy from the area vet, I would have to drive an hour each way to get to a Tractor Supply. PetSmart would be 2 hours each way. Chewy has been reliable for me but I echo all the opinions about FedEx.

I’ve noticed that Chewy delivery times drop significantly in the winter; we stack our orders so we don’t need them to arrive on schedule and that gets us through. Packaging is often approximate… but for the price and service I’m still very happy with them. Been with them for 8 years now? Not changing.

our German Shepherd thinks every box delivered by any source as long as its left at the front door is HER order from Chewy (or Honest Kitchen)

I am often tempted to once order some hay from Chewy… they have compressed 50 pound bales of Timothy …Free Shipping… plus auto Ship and save…

I absolutely love Chewy they have the best customer service of any company I’ve purchased from. I remember one time I wrote a negative review on a cat toy that my cats didn’t take interest to, and they refunded the price of the toy no questions asked. . I’ve been a Chewy customer ever since I adopted my cats three years ago and all my cats’ food and litter is on Autoship. They even send my cats birthday and holiday cards every year.

I’ve never had an issue with anything coming broken or missing, so it’s possible that either the delivery guy or the person who packaged your items was having a bad day. I guarantee if you tell them what happened then they will go above and beyond to make it right.

Chewy has been really good to me. I’ve been using them for about three years now with no issues except for one dented can shipment (detailed below).

I used to order food for my sister’s cat because I already had a Chewy account for my own, and we couldn’t get the food she needed locally. When the cat unexpectedly died, I tried to cancel the order but it had already gone through. I contacted them asking if there was any way they could cancel the order and/or I could send it back for a refund - they said no, it was past catching, but they refunded me in full, and asked me to donate the food to a local shelter. I brought it to the donation bin at Petsmart.

When I ordered a 24ct of Weruva canned wet food for my cat with sundry issues, the cans arrived damaged - some were even perforated. In shades of East Of Eden, I refuse to feed dented cans in general due to botulism risks. I contacted them asking if there was any way I could return and buy a new one at a slight discount since it looked like it was just damaged in transit (the box was also pretty worn), and they said not to bother returning, and sent me a replacement for free on overnight, and told me to just dispose of the cans. I felt awful throwing them away VS donating but didn’t want to risk it!

I really like them. I think if you message them you might be pleasantly surprised!
