Chicken and the horse analogy

Bill Shanklin is a thoughtful blogger, but how he came up with this fowl thinking analogy I will never know. The racing thinkers for decades have been debating the lack of advancing TB racing prowess. I guess from the point of the horseman it’s a worthy discussion, but for the fan or bettor finish time is irrelevant as is size The just want the win, place, or show # to be the same as their ticket. A close race between a group 2K claimers breaking a record for the slowest fractions ever run can be just as exciting, if you love the game or invested in a bet.

The slow ones stay sounder.

Chickens or horses? I suspect slow chickens get eaten sooner.

:(-Sorry dark, cloudy, damp Saturday.

How do you think Kentucky Fried Chicken got started? Slow chickens that couldn’t make the furlong distance at Churchill Downs. What was Colonel Sanders to do with them?

What a fowl thought.

LOL. The chickens changed size and shape. I guess you could breed horses to resemble cheetahs, but they’d be hard to ride.

Have to say this chicken and horse analogy has actually got me thinking about the derby. YUM.
