How did I miss this?!?! I have sooo much catching up to do!
Kookie – I feel for you. You are in a tough position and I think you are handling it much better than I would! I would have had a hard time being that proactive and calm!
Naters – I love when you poke the troll! (That sounds dirty…) It always makes for an interesting read.
I do not believe I have ever met you, so I do not know if we get along, but I do have plenty of adult friends, none of whom would justify insulting a child, or an adult for that matter by saying “they will never read this anyway”
My postings here have been responses to questions, and comments directed toward me
And last but not least I have a magnificent sense of humor, which is greatly appreciated by many people on this bb.
I tend to get along with most people, I’m fairly easy going and laid back.
Your magnificent sense of humor has yet to be shown on this BB that I’ve seen…or we may differ in how we read responses to posts and are categorizing amused posts differently.
Do you not see the irony in constant repetitive posts stating that a child of 12-13 constantly arguing, insulting and causing a ruckus just for attention has issues while you are copying that MO exactly?
This BB is enormous…and varied. Never underestimate who may be reading or even posting on here. Your name and stallion’s name are prominant and while so far your word of mouth breeding program is working that might be working despite your acerbic posting style…it might not remain that way over time if you continue to show the facade you are on this BB.
What I do not understand Tim is why you can not see that your continued posts are turning people away. You call yourself a professional, a businessman …I know of no other poster who relies on others in the horse industry for their livelihood. You are doing your business no favors by arguing for argument sake.

MistyBlue…as always, I applaud your post!!

Look at how many hits this thread has.
How many of those does he need to have gained a good number of interested people for his business?
If all it took is to annoy many, does that matter?
Although I do like the idea of placing an advert in the local paper with her photo and the caption: “who is responsible for this wayward & delinquent child?”[/QUOTE]
sir your a buisness man its trival dont get so worked up by what other posters say
as for sense of humour if british its somewhat taken differently at times
as for the child thing
they dont mean it, ie to bad mouth her as you say in her defence, most
as you dont get there sense of humour either
and from a person that had a horse stabbed in the face by unruly children then i can see where they comming from. unless one actually has something happen to them at that time
then how we handle do or say things depends on the circumstances at that time
so - as this is a bb board the op put up a post and at that time people responded
to it, as they feel for the op and saw the dangers to both the horses and child
where one might say - stupid little git in uk i will give it a thick ear etc etc
they have responded with the same kinda attitude but with different words
as for your horse yeap hes good seen a lot of good horses and stallions that perform
same to with mares selective breeding is what its called
your is just one of many- end off
Since you are now asking about my business, I will answer your question. [edit] Ask anyone who actualy knows me or has done business with me, and you will hear good things. In this particular thread I am turning people away for standing up for a child, in other posts, I don’t punish young horses enough, or am at fault for advertising. People who have problems with my positions on these issues are not people I want to be involved with beyond this bb. [edit]
“Like” what? Like a thinking adult, rather than someone whos to be bullied into buying a service because the advertiser is aggressive and mean toward the person being solicited??
Fackinated, you’re going on my ignore list. Oh, wait! I have a lovely gelding – he’d love to meet Silvio! For coffee, conversation, who knows where it will end?
Really? Everyone you have ever done business with will only have good things to say? That’s very commendable Tim. Then perhaps you can tell me about a horse named 'Jetstream", aka Jet, a 17+H bay TB gelding…remember him?
Since you are now asking about my business, I will answer your question. I am not interested in doing business with idiots. Ask anyone who actualy knows me or has done business with me, and you will hear good things.
Not always…as I stated before, you can never be 100% sure who is reading or responding to you online. Some may very well know of people you’ve done business with (or even be people you’ve previously done business with) and not have the same opinion of you that you have of yourself or that your personal friends have of you. (not breeding) Since nothing has gone to court (at least at this time) I’d strongly suggest maybe monitoring your online conversations and keeping the content less acerbic. There was an article today on MSN’s homepage about judges using past web page shots in court cases to establish personality/intent.
Some may have already taken web page shots and stored them for future use…before those comments were edited or erased.
Just the volume of breedings can be a way to show your possible gross worth…remember, nothing you post online is temporary nor invisible.
The equine world was always small, with the internet and very large BBs such as this one the equine world has shrunk even more. News travels fast…bad news even faster.
