I think she’ll go sometime tonight as well. There are times when I swear I can see that baby moving around in there!

HA! Cheekyhorse thought she could see the baby moving last night! I don’t doubt it… I’ve thought the same thing at times.
And I HOPE that she is going to have it tonight… or sometime this century!
Is she sweaty? I just check on her every once in awhile and hadn’t seen it before but tonight I have seen her kick at her belly. Very good sign.
Yes, I think (and a few others have thought so too) that she is sweaty. I"m sitting on my hands to not go down and check on her in person because if she IS starting to do something, I don’t want her to stop… and I think she will… (the poop piles are driving me nuts too lOL).
She has been kicking and biting since yesterday - today seems to be more kicking and less biting than last night though.
I’m up right now watching Chloe when I should finish packing the trailer. I’m coming down to Mobile, AL today before we go to the dressage show in Folsolm, LA tomorrow. Would you like me to make a little detour so I come over and pull that baby out for you? 
Sure, come on down and pull it out for me… no wait, I might do it for you! LOL
I cannot believe that she has not foaled yet… she is drving me crazy. Not only that but I don’t think she laid down last night. I know for a fact that until 2 am she didn’t. She MIGHT have between 2 - 5 in between my 15 min cat naps.
She has been shifting her weight back and forth a bunch the last little bit, but otherwise looks perfectly content to hang out and shoot the breeze with Dove next door. She certainly made a mess of her stall!!
Hey ASH - how do you like your Fandango colt??? We don’t have too many of them down in these parts! I’m going to go visit with Sharri prior to the Convention this year and am excited to get to see him and her new boy.
small update… a very kind person on marestare informed me that they watched her while I was sleeping (THANK GOD FOR MS! LOL) and saw her lay down briefly shortly after 2 am, have a quick nap, short roll then back up the rest of the time. So she has been down (I"m actually glad about this).

She seems to be tucking her pelvis under at times too like she is having contractions but that might just be the angle of the camera and my wishful thinking.
Absolutely love my Fandango colt…so much that I will be breeding the dam back to him this year. Did you see his webpage? http://www.altamontsporthorses.com/id83.html He is so so sweet. Of course the dam is very sweet too so I’m not sure what role Fandango played in that. He is a fabulous mover, fast learner, well put together, has a great temperment…not to mention handsome as can be. He’s got these big soft “bedroom eyes”. He’ll be going to the dressage show with me as well as Phoenix, my Irish Draught Sport Horse gelding out of my TK mare by Graditz. Silly me, I’m so used to thinking of Phoenix as a yearling that I completely forgot that I was going to have to put a bit in his mouth for this show until the last minute. :sadsmile: I didn’t even have a suitable bit for him, couldn’t find one around here so I had to order one. At this rate I’m not sure if I will be able to accomplish that but we still have one day to work on it. Nothing like trying to get things done the day before the deadline, huh? And its been cold here until a couple of days ago so we’re still hairy and not clipped but we’re still gonna roll. Got my fingers crossed.
Good luck with Sweet Chloe. I’ll probably miss it but might be able to check in at my friend’s place in Mobile. I’ll be thinking good thoughts on the drive.
I didn’t look at his individual page no… but will later. I’ve noticed that butt tuck too (esp starting last night) but wasn’t sure if it was wishful thinking or not.
What show are you going to that has DSHB so early in the year?? Not that I could have gone this weekend anyway…
We are going to have a 2 day rated show within 5 miles of my house this year with Jos Severiens and I think Janie Malone judging, might be wrong on Jainie though - it might have been Arleene Rigdon… can’t remember any more.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the bit thing… I did the same thing with my TK colt and he was FINE, just another day another new thing to do.
As for not getting to see her foal… at the rate we are going you will show and come home and she won’t have foaled out yet! LOL.
It is Dressage Across the Lake. At Gosling if I remember correctly (everything is packed up).

Chloe is out. SHe is picking at her grain (I fed outside, no time to wait on her this am). It looked like she had the tinest beads of wax this am too.
I may try to come home a little early - heck I may be SENT home today I"m in such a mood from being sleep deprived LOL.
Her stall is as destroyed as it looked on the cam - worse actually!
Please God let her go tonight - and preferably EARLY tonight. ARound 7 or 8 cst would be GREAT.
Both you and Chloe need this to be done. Chloe looked so uncomfortable last night.

P.S. I wish I had a mare stare cam. I board and wish I could see her when I wanted to. She’ll be going to the vet to foal out, though.
I am stunned that she didnt foal last night! I tried to watch but I was pre-occupied watching fat mare tv of my own! LOL! I just hooked up my foal cam - and discovered quickly that it was addicting! She is not close yet but I was still intrigued by everything she did! So…I am glad for me I didnt miss it! Sorry you are sleep deprived…go Chloe go!

I can’t believe it… STILL no foal from Chloe or that darned mini! Oh well… now I’ll have something to do at work tonight

I can’t believe that mini didn’t go last night. She looked right on the verge, flat out and pushing. Hope she’s okay.
Maybe Chloe just wants a baby for the weekend so you can have more time to fool with it on the first day or two. Assuming you work M-F. So see, tonight’s probably the night!
I can’t BELEIVE that she hasn’t foal! Alllllll day i was wondering if it was a colt or a filly. Jeez!! Well, I have a riding lesson tonight, but I’m game for settling in for a little marestare tonight!!

Everyone else… Y’ALL can’t believe she hasn’t had it??? I certainly can’t believe that she hasn’t had it!
My hay guy just delivered 250 bales of hay. The entire time we were unloading it she stood at the gate and begged to be brought in. Shifting weight back and forth, swishing her tail, etc etc… In about 5 mins I’m going outside, I will clean out her stall, fluff the hay (watch for my schnauzer to “help” - it is the highlight of Otto’s day to assist me LOL) then bring miss thang in … MAYBE, just maybe if I bring her in early and settle everyone down she will have it by 7 or 8 or so??? One can always hope!!!
I just need to change into shorts and I’ll be out to get her going.
