Chloe FILLY 4/10 - on CAM 1 tonight, Dove Filly! 4/5 - Dove/Ruby CAM 2 tonight (4/11

I don’t understand how Chloe can look like she is having contractions, and then she just shuts everything down and we’re back to the Chloe we all know and love. I think she wants Anissa down there with her. This could go on for day and days and days and days and . . . .

I am perplexed… Go douse her with a gallon of flyspray so we know its not bugs!! I keep thinking bugs? Maybe? Possibly not? more

Last time I stared at a horses’ rump this long/intently was when I was trying to learn braiding.

I don’t think I even gave that this much time!!

Good thing finals week is fast approaching and I have an excuse to be in front of the computer.

OMG! I just got home & they’re both still pregnant! I thought for sure you’d have at least 1 on the ground by now Anissa… :sigh:

I’ve come up with a totally plausible explanation for why these two mares haven’t foaled yet:
While attending the “How to Give Birth” instructional video sessions, both Dove and Chloe either: (1) had to use the little girls room and of course couldn’t go alone; (2) it was playing during their lunch break; (3) The naughty Trak mare’s club used peer pressure to get these two to join their group; or (4) Paid more attention checking out the sexy stallion in the corner’s rock hard haunches instead of paying attention to the video.

OMG, just got caught up … y’all are cracking me up!!! (mom watched for a little bit so I could get some sleep).

I agree, I think we need a support group and some therapy. She’s been doing some stretches and stuff hasn’t she (in the last few seconds), and mom said that she “squirted” poop??? COME ON CHLOE…

I hate to say it, Anissa, but if 340/343 is “normal” give or take ten days either side, we’all could be in for a looooooong wait. When you go out, give Chloe a huge, big hug around her waist and perhaps you can squeeze baby out like toothpaste? I’m three hours to the west of most of your viewers and since my sleep patterns are now ruined, I can watch her for most of your night. This morning the alarm went off, which I ignored, and slept until 9:00am. It was lovely. I have to say, I’ve enjoyed being part of your group. What will happen is you’ll be so exhausted, when the big show happens, you’ll be caught napping. Oh, that’s right, that is why you have marestare, so your phone can ring off the hook.

Somethings happening…

Foxtrot’s. what’s going on? I can’t get marestare on my mac.

Er, nothing — she’s gone back to eating her bedding. She was pawing and looking at her sides and I got all excited. Wishful thinking, sadly… You and us are on the same time zone and up later than the others!

I am so in the dark when it comes to watching, so I am so glued to this thread. I check it like 20 times a day!

I wonder if I qualify for the Trakenerd clique. Thirty years ago I bred a mare to Boraks in BC. Hardly anyone knew what a warmblood was then, at least up here, and Boraks was the first one here. Does anybody remember him, or any of his offspring?

I finally found one in labor!

Aaaaahhh - too sweet. Wish chloe’s camera was as clear.

Foxtrot that is what I’m afraid of… I’m afraid one of them will go down for real when I’m “cat napping” There are supposidly big storms rolling through tonight/tomorrow… think it will help??? PLEASE!!!

I think you qualify for the Trakehnerd Clique - anyone that likes TKs are TKNerds! LOL.

I wish my cam was as clear too!

And I do know that we are not way overdue or anything… (due date?? What are those in horses LOL) but come on… mare acts like she is going, she looks like she is going, and she has white sticky milk etc… come on mare get a move on!

I’m envious of your sleep. I may try to leave work and come home at lunch and sleep this afternoon… we’ll see how the day goes.

Just an FYI: The girls are outside and the cams are down. There is a big storm/cold front coming in today/tomorrow… think that might put them over the edge?? LOL

It gets harder and harder to convince Chloe that she has to leave her stall in the am… .Today was a tug of war with me acutally having to hold her halter and not just the lead rope. sigh…

Well I was wondering Are we there yet? and i can see the answer is NO

As I posted earlier, there is a New Moon tomorrow, April 5th. That should work…

I agree VB, and I’m off to judge a horse show tonight, so bet I’ll miss it!!!:eek::eek:

Poor acottongim :frowning: I was surely hoping it would happen last night. Maybe next week  Why don’t you just sleep for a couple days, then they will be ready to come out.
