Chloe FILLY 4/10 - on CAM 1 tonight, Dove Filly! 4/5 - Dove/Ruby CAM 2 tonight (4/11

I am about to go back and read everythign that my girl has been doing, but I just made it home (wanted to let everyone know asap!) AND THANK YOU ALL FOR WATCHING HER SO CLOSELY!!! It means the world to me!
I have been watching, nervous for Anissa, since she wasn’t home.
I told a non-horsey coworker and he watched her while I went to a meeting.
When I got back, he reported she was still munching on hay in her cubicle.
LOL!!
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Ok, that makes me laugh (and I needed that today…I’ve been stressed out all afternoon about this mare). I actually got excused early from the last case becaues I just couldn’t take it anymore! LOL

Oh, that spot on the wall that everyone has been talking about??? That occured when ANGEL had her foal in early March - she was jumping around so much that the umbilcal cord snapped and blood (you were right it is blood) spurted on the wall there. So nothing wrong, esp not with Chloe. (mare that cried wolf is RIGHT)

Good for you being back holding the reins - Phew! I, personally, had a great night watching Chloe and my daughter in Madrid. It was a semi-final and she made it through to Saturday’s final, so another night of waiting up for me so I can watch on live feed. So as far as I’M concerned, Chloe can wait a couple more nights - I’ll be up anyway… Just teasing - I know you must be at the end of your tether with working, horse chores and no sleep!!!

I actually have napped off and on… even last night. I don’t think I’ll sleep much tonight though unless I’m right and she goes soon.

Good for your daughter!!! I’m rooting for her!

pacing…butt-wiggle…kick…tail flick…repeat
Someone is -NOT- happy.
Let’s get this show on the road

Heeheee… mom just sent me an email that said that Chloe must be ready as she looked happy to see me come in and sad to see me leave LOL. She has milk all down both back legs, slow drip going… def contractions going on… Everyone outside and in has hay/water etc so she can think “it is over for the night”. The barn is very quiet (you know how the other horses get before one of them foals??)… Anyone taking bets? I guess about time for dark. OH, and she is sweaty and except for the horses outside, she is the only one that is sweaty.

of course now she is in the ONE hiding place in the barn… but she can’t lay down there without a foot or a leg being seen so it is all ok…

Well glad to hear I wasn’t crazy (at that moment)!! I had just never noticed it before. Then with the poo pile in front, it brought more attention to it.

I think Chloe is lubing up the engine… Saw a tiny paw there… Guess we’ll soon find out!

You prob just didn’t notice it because 1) the cam is FINALLY clear LOL and 2) it isn’t bright red or anything… (besides, y’all needed something to fret about LOL).

Well, I’ll place one last bet. 10:15 your time. Black filly with chrome. I am feeling nice enough to not begrudge a filly because I found out today that Winter is preggy.

As ever hoping that all goes safely.

So, since all of our guess times went by with no foal, my new guess will be 9:45pm CST. Still a black filly, no white.

Your horses are sweating and today, I had to leave work early to come home and bring in my hyper sensitive to wet/cold rain/snow prego mare and she is shivering her butt off. I could blanket her, but then one of the horses in her group thinks she is a monster and tries to run her off the property. She is not real happy in the stall either, but at least warm and dry. Currently it is 35 here with rain changing to snow and windy. I am so ready for spring.

Really??? Y’all think she is going to last that long/?? hmmmm… we’ll see - she was just hunting a place a few mins ago. I think she just wants dark (which is in about 2 hours).

YEAH Mary Lou!!! That is awesome news!!! Who’s your daddy??

kmp - it is officially 82 degrees right now and overcast.

7:05 p.m. Black filly with star.

ETA: If there’s a name pool on this one, my suggestion is still Sweet Time, as in taking her own.

I am sitting here at work and don’t want to take the time to remember what time zone you are in, so can I just guess in 52 minutes, black colt, a little white on the left hind…

Ugh, Wisconsin winter has been very long this year. We had a couple inches of snow 2 nights ago and will again tonight.

My mare isn’t due until 1st week in July though, so at least it will be warmer by then (I hope).

For now daddy is a state secret.

Okay, now that I know when it gets dark there, my bet is dark plus 30 minutes. I’ll stay with the filly with chrome in black.

But the question remains, if I am right, do I get the filly?

You just HAD to rub in the temp:(:frowning: Our weather is calling for the white crap to make a return on Sunday.

My guess is going to be black filly with two very small socks, and she’ll arrive at 8:30;)

I’m flattered that you want my filly… but I’m thinking that if it is a filly and it is half as nice as I think it might be then the filly is a keeper. LOL

Hrmph… state secret… (mutter mutter mutter)… oh ok, you’ll just have to spill the beans soon then!

and kmp - don’t start getting toooo jealous. They are saying that by the end of the weekend through early next week it will be close to 32 degrees up here!!! YIKES!!! (what is UP with the weather lately???)

Have you noticed how clean Chloe has managed to keep her stall–I know Anissa you probably cleaned it as soon as you got home. For Chloe though she’s not been a wrecking machine today. If that milk is running down her legs, it won’t be too long. I just don’t think you can beat Dove for showing instant love for her foal.
