It’s that time of year and I have zero ideas for good Xmas presents for friends. Keeping it under $30 would be great!
Fill these stockings shaped like an English riding boot with an inexpensive crop, some peppermints, carrots, lip balms or whatever–maybe even a vintage good kids’ horse book if you think your recipients are the type to appreciate special horse books. Decorate with a sprig of holly or tie on a little ribbon. I gave some of these last year, and I like that they are handmade.

There’s a pretty good thread on the eventing page related to this topic, it’s somewhat geared towards kids and even tears but a lot of the suggestions are universal and useful!
