What a wonderful partner to give you what you love the most. How on earth did your partner know what to buy??? Does your partner ride?

When you trot her for the first time, you better be in your deeeeep dressage saddle and wear your padded undies (or whatever men wear to protect themselves). I’ve got a feeling her trot is going to be a wee bit bigger than you might be used to! 
I leave the BB for a few hours to go ride and I totally MISS the unveiling!

I think Bambi (Jair’s SF gelding) should come down to NOLA and spend some time with his Uncle Jeb while you get to know Alice. He’s gonna get hurt feelings if you don’t show him as much attention!

Robbie, I will put my mind to Feta for you. At the moment I am in a Chorizo, Turkey breast, swiss and sourdough melt mood. The post holiday turkey glut (I couldn’t pass up that $1.01 bird!) and have made more stock than imaginable.
Feta and turkey? Argh! Feta and Chorizo? Hmmm, possiblities here.
Terriers are the best, our Grizzles is some terrier mix (brindled, of course) and, not only is a brilliant creature that understands guilt, but doesn’t shed!

Jair - sincerely. Forget heidi’s shameless attempts. Have I ever told you how highly I hold you in my esteem? Nobody on earth deserves a nice horse more than you. Honestly. She is the most beautiful horse I’ve ever seen. Obviously someone of your sophistication and intellegence will quickly assimilate with her feminine ways. No one else could ever ride her as well as you will. I love ya man!
Alice would beat my new Christmas Maytag fridge in a jump off any day.

Since we’re somewhat on the topic, I do feel compelled to put a plug in for my boyfriend. He got me a f-250 for x-mas, now I can get a horse trailer! And it’s funny when I get the comments from non-horse people - “a truck, wouldn’t you have rather had a ring?” ummm…no. Although, after being together for six years, I did tell the boy “this truck is not a consolation prize”. I do believe I have earned it though
Robby - completely off topic but I’ve been meaning to post to you, I saw your picture of your mare a while back. How do you get her tail so nice?

She’s been pretty quiet lately…
who is the most important {ggg}, I’ll bake some special oat/carrot/molasses cookies - yes, those would be the ones I baked for my Princess Willow who, of course, turned her nose up to them (and all 25 other horses in the barn scarfed them right out of my hands!).
Then for the chocolate lovers … hmmm, I may, if you are really, really, really good, bake a chocolate souffle. With Grand Marnier sauce.
My favorite recipe is creme brulee (I have the recipe from Le Cirque), but it’s horribly fattening. I also make a pretty impressive key lime pie.
I’m leaving for lunch in 3 minutes!
