Very, very wishful thinking for a SoloShot to help record more of my rides and work with my young horse! Having someone available to video me has given me so much body awareness and I think helps us improve a bunch. Hints have been dropped, haha. [/QUOTE

DONT DO IT! I had one and finally got rid of it. It was the worst money I ever spent. Go on facebook and join the soloshot groups(one of them is soloshot for equestrians), and you will see the ridiculous amount of problems people have with their soloshots.
They are VERY difficult to actually set it up, and they are incredibly finicky. They only work outdoors IF the weather is clear without clouds. They don’t work near buildings or near large trees. If you can get it connected, they have zooming in and out issues(a problem the 2 most recent software updates still have not been able to fix), they don’t always follow you and lag(if they actually track you they don’t always stay centered). The list goes on and on and on. Honestly go join the 2-3 facebook groups for the soloshot and you will be shocked at the amount of issues people have. Dozens and dozens of people have expressed how regretful they have been to have bought it, and having owned it myself, I can fully vouch for all the issues I had because they were the same ones every other owner had.
I saw there is another similar device called Pixio I believe that I would research(also expensive), but would have to be better than the crappy soloshot. DO NOT BUY THE SOLOSHOT.
