cinch recommendation please

Hey folks, popping over from Offcourse.

I have an arab mare in training who get girth sores very easy. I currently have a fleece cover on the cinch I am using, however I would rather find a cinch that is designed for horses with thin skin like this.

So, please, any recommendations on what ones work, what ones are a rip off, etc.

I have tried string (which I have no trouble with on my other horses) and neoprene already and the current girth is a neoprene with the fleece cover.

Try mohair, at least 20 string, and keep it clean. Put cinch chaffes on as well to pad the latigos and the knot.

I have one just like that for my TB that is a roping style, but this mare has a deep heart girth, so I think it will fit her too. The string I tried on her before was just a straight one with fewer strings, works great for everyone but her. There is always one
