Hey,
Just wondering the western COTHers would be able to help me figure out this serial number:
I tried to make sense of it, but to avail.
What are you wanting to make sense of?
The age of the saddle, but if it reveals anything else about it that would be great!

For older numbering-1990s to April 2006
Serial number position example: 1234-5678-90AB-CD
1234= style number of saddle
5= Tree size (1- Semi Quarter Horse; 5- Full Quarter Horse)
67= Seat size- 30-13"; 35-13.5"; 40-14"; 45-14.5"; 50-15"; etc…
8= Saddle color- see above list
90= Month of completion (01- January; 02- February; …)
AB= Year of completion (97 is 1997)
CD= A possible extra number here means that more than one of these was made that day so it received a unique number
of 1, 2, or 10, for example.
Thanks! I saw that before but just couldn’t seem to make sense of it. Apparently my brain wasn’t working that day.
