I’ve ordered a new custom saddle that has buffalo leather on the flaps. Do I clean them the same way I clean the rest, which is English calfskin? I use Passier cleaner and conditioner.
When I had a saddle with buffalo I just cleaned it as all leather (I also use Passier).

I’ve had a saddle with a Buffalo seat and knee rolls for 10+ years (grain flaps) and always cleaned it with standard leather soap. I use the glycerin soap.
