What is the best product to clean up the vinyl on a tack trunk?
We just wipe down with a damp cloth or pledge if we’re cleaning wood ones too.
Mine had gotten all kinds of sticky after using various cleaners, so I eventually went with Goo Gone (on the vinyl only), and it looks (and feels) like new.
I’ve used mild detergent (ivory, etc) and water then when dry used armour all - the stuff for cars.
Thanks this will help tons!
Armour All works great and makes them very shiny!
Just be careful with the armour all, makes them kind of slick, a friend went to sit on hers and slipped right off!
Bumping to ask what the best way to clean the wood part of a vinyl tack trunk is- I see pledge mentioned above. Can anyone vouch for that/share what you use?

Pledge has always worked just fine for wooden and vinyl for us, but we do clean pretty regularly. I have heard of using murphy’s oil soap/etc. For something that just needs a wipe down pledge, water and vinegar, etc will work just fine.
