I use a chambon with my gelding when I lunge him (usually before a ride in full tack), but it’s really annoying to unbuckle my girth after lunging before riding. It has a loop end, not a buckle end. Is there a clip I can attach to the end? I have a contour girth with a d-ring, so attaching it on the girth side is set.
Take the ends with the clips and clip to each other around the neck. Should look like 3/4 of a standing martingale.

The piece at the bottom unscrews so you can remove it, slip the snap over the loop in the leather, and screw the piece back in.
This is exactly what I am looking for!! Now to verify that the width of the snap is wide enough to get around the leather loop. THANK YOU!!
