Have to say their broadcast crew has really stepped up their game, great camera and sound work (especially of the gate loading process- those guys earn their money), knowledgeable comments and interesting features. Love the pre race paddock evaluations. Yesterday they miced up and followed a trainer through saddling up explaining every step to giving the jockey exact instructions for the 2 year old filly’s second start -which he followed to to break her maiden.

Sport needs to do more of this.

I love that they give the breeding of each horse in the post parade. NBC - take note! This is not difficult information to look up.

Bet announcers will be practicing saying Chancer McPatrick…Chancer is Gailic, crooked gambler/con man. Ferocious was easily running in front but got distracted, dropped back then hooked up with CMP as he flew past, almost caught him but ended a close second. Weird…might want to watch it. 2 year olds…
