I am in the market for a new helmet and I really like the CO Gr8 with the gray stripe. Would this be acceptable for the eq and hunters? Thanks!
Not for the hunter or eq ring, sorry! The all-black GR8 is perfectly acceptable.
You can ride in it, I know quite a few younger juniors who do their 2’6 in that helmet. It is completely fine. For tradition sake, you may want to ask your trainer if they prefer an all black helmet. Personally I like the traditional all black helmet, but I’ve also walked into the hunter ring with my Speed Air on. So pot here calling kettle black.
An approved helmet is an approved helmet. Any style questions should just be discussed with your trainer because sometimes they have strict rules as to the turnout of their clients.
