Coast-to-coast shipper yeas or nays?

It is possible I will be acquiring a mare from eastern Oregon.
I’ll need to get her to Massachusetts.
Anyone have recommendations on people to trust and/or those to avoid?
PM if you want.
Thanks.

I had a FABULOUS experience with Holly Hill. They’re based in MA and I just could not be happier with them.

I’d also check with Bob Hubbard, Equine Express, and Brookledge.

Congrats on the possible new horse!!!

I’ve had multiple experiences from west coast to Tennessee with Bob Hubbard, Equine Express, and KC Horse Transportation and I would be comfortable working with any of them again. Congratulations on the (potential) new horse!

I don’t know how much business they have at the moment, but Tex Sutton flies that route.

Brookledge. Bob Hubbard.

Bob Hubbard will pick up in the back of Oregon.

Also, American Horse Transport based in Chehalis, WA did a nice job getting a horse across the country for me. But they went as far as KY and then contracted with Creech for the rest of the way to FL. Communication was great the whole time. If you don’t mind the two-parter and trust the East Coast contractor, I think you’d like the attention to detail that American Horse Transport had. I got the recommendation from a pro who regularly shipped from the West side of Oregon to the East Coast for pony finals and the like.

I’ve used Brookledge for CA to Kentucky; I picked up the horse myself at their hub in Lexington. They were not going to run their air-ride rig up by me, and they would have contracted with another shipper in a regular rig to finish the trip. And they were upfront about that, which I appreciated.

I was very pleased throughout with my experience with them. I would use them again without hesitation.
