Coastal Delaware Riding

We’re planning a move to the Lewes/Rehoboth area in the next year or so. Can anyone recommend a laid back stable where an experienced but out of practice old lady can get back into the saddle? Former H/J princess looking to become an old DQ.

waaaaay back in 2000, I worked and boarded at Pam-An stables. They are very laid back. Their focus was paints and conformation classes back then, but if you can bring a trainer in, they are worth a look.

No advice or suggestions, but I’m so jealous. We have been going to Rehoboth since I was less than a year old and it’s my happy place.

I’m a little over an hour from Lewes in Maryland. I encourage you to join the Eastern Shore Horse Network on Facebook to help you with your search! My understanding is there isn’t a ton of options in the immediate area, but there are a fair number of options if you are willing to drive inland a bit. It’s not, say, Ocala by any means, but there are a lot of riding options in the area.

I love Rehoboth and Lewes and am there quite frequently. Welcome to the area!
