Coat care after clipping, thoughts?

Nope, you’re not the only one. Bath, clip, brush off the loose hairs, done. I suppose it’s possible that I needed to wipe or bath off any clipper oil that might have been left, but out of the hundreds of horses I’ve body clipped I can’t remember that specifically.

I just clipped my horse, too, and I just curried him really well and used some of the pink stuff coat conditioner. Too cold where I am to bathe!!

I couldn’t bathe beforehand (too cold) for my clip yesterday, but I usually do a bath after with some skin so soft or baby oil, but when it’s too cold for that I just hot towel with some coat conditioner spray.

Well I finally got my boy clipped. I ended up not using an oil because I didn’t want the inside of his sheet to get icky/grimy. I just groomed him and used a coat conditioner afterward.

My line got a little wacky at the bottom, but he’s shiny and sleek  I made the line nicer on the other side, I swear

Thanks for all of the tips!
