Cocosoya anyone?

Thinking of giving this to my 2 who event and need a calorie boost in the summer. I see only good things about it.

Love it, don’t like the cost. Now I just do oil from CostCo. Unless you’re super concerned with inflammatory factors, or your horses refuse any other oil, I don’t know if it makes a whole lot of sense to send the extra $$.

Same as Simkie. There are 2,000 calories in one cup of any oil. I stopped Cocosoya when it reached $30 a gallon. I use canola oil now, and my horse loves it.

My horse won’t touch it. I bought him some and actually used a bit of it as a no-chew on some wood around his stall. :lol:Although he prefers the most expensive oil…flax. Because he would.

I love the stuff! Around here it’s only $20/gallon from Tractor Supply, so still relatively affordable, especially if being fed in a smaller quantity.

We have a Tractors Supply. Never thought to look there. 5 gallons at Smartpak is $94. Makes me want to try a gallon first as most said their horses loved it.

Love it. I definitely feel it contributed to my geldings improved soundness. Wish it wasn’t so pricey, but it works so it’s worth the price.

I used to feed it. My horse initially liked it but then gradually went off of it. Wish I could use canola oil but he won’t eat that either!
