The Mid-Atlantic Equitation Festival in Upper Marlboro, MD offers a Horsemanship Scholarship on Nov. 16 th open to all young horse enthusiasts. The exam is given either Friday late afternoon/early evening , or Saturday morning. The top finishers proceed to a practicum with a pro horseman and veterinarian. ALL disciplines are welcome, exam is not hunter/jumper oriented. You do NOT need to ride in the show to participate in this scholarship. Open to all ages 15-21.
