Does anyone have the Collegiate Comfitec bridle? How is the quality of the leather? Do you like it?
I havnt seen it in person, but I have a PS of Sweden High Jump, and I am guessing it doesn’t have near as many features as the PSoS. Annoyingly, the Collegiate is legal and the High Jump is not. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
The horse I use the High Jump on will be going eventing (where it IS legal) so not a huge issue for me. My dressage horse is going in a Jump Off which IS usdf legal.
The market is currently getting flooded with cheaper knock off versions of the PSoS/Micklem style bridles. I’m going to stick with the real deal because they’ve made a HUGE difference in my horses.

I have seen the Collegiate, and it is nice quality, softly padded crown. I thought the quality was nice. Great price too.
I have one and the leather quality is much better than the PSoS bridles I have handled.

Bumping to see if anybody has anything else to add. I’m casually looking for a dressage bridle and like the look and price point of this one.
Also interested.
I’ve had Collegiate hunter bridles in the past and have always liked them.
I got one last spring and sent it back. The cob size wasn’t quite big enough but with the less than stellar quality of the leather, I returned it and didn’t try the full size. I ended up with a PS of Sweden Nirak bridle which I am happy with.

I don’t have one, but I saw one in a tack store a couple of weeks ago and it was beautiful. The leather in new condition was nicer than PS of Sweden in new condition. If I needed a new bridle like it, I would have bought it in a second.
