Hi all! I’m saddle shopping and I’d like to know if there are saddle fitters (whether indie, store-based, or brand reps) in Colorado that you have loved working with and who really know their stuff. Conversely, are there any you’d advise staying well away from?

We had an awesome indie saddle fitter, and maker of saddles and strap goods, but she moved back to England. Susie Fletcher-Baker was always highly recommended.
In an effort to be more helpful :-), CO has a County (brand) rep and 2 store reps that I am aware of. Bev is in the Boulder area (the Tack Collection) and Jen is in Fort Collins (Happy Horse). Both do travel though.

We also have a relatively new Equipe rep in the Castle Rock area. Great saddles but I don’t know the rep.

I know the Equipe rep. Haven’t tested out the saddles yet, but she helped me design a pair of DeNiro boots.
I’ve used Jen at Happy horse and really enjoyed her. I know many who have used her and been very happy.
Kim Benson comes to CO several times a year and I am working with her now on building a saddle. She has “blank” saddle trees to ensure she finds the right fit.
