Colt rescued from year-long sling horror (warning: abuse, deceased horse)

It’s maybe 3 hours door to door. No biggie.

Nice update, but encysted strongyles do not attach to the stomach (that’s bots), they hang out in the walls of the intestine and sometimes in the mesenteric arteries.

The mare, India, had a filly. Very cute. If you look at this video, what is that “white puff” from the straw when the mare stands up? It hits the filly in the face.

It looked like dust/spores from moldy hay?

Looks like sawdust mixed in with the straw.

That makes sense. There is a video of another rescue and he is covered in sawdust.

Here is India’s story for those interested

The best part about that video is seeing Asombro act like a horse.

Agreed! He looks much sturdier than he did.

Update with more pictures.

You can sort of see his legs and feet in one. They look soooo much better.

He’s filling in well!

Ohhhh, my! He looks stunning. I am so happy to see him coming into his true self again. Thank you, Asombro and all his people, for believing it could happen.
