The announcers very briefly mentioned one was vanned off after finishing. It was the last race on the telecast and they went off the air. Can’t find a thing online, rewatched the race and didn’t see anything obvious. They don’t show them galloping out so no idea.
Anybody know? Might have said it was Kentucky Wildcat, barely caught it. If so he was a hard fought but fading second still well ahead of the rest of the field but nothing obvious. ??
DRF tweeted it was Kentucky Wildcat, suffered a condylar fracture. Not life threatening, but future career uncertain.
Guess he’s the first of this years Derby Trail followers to drop off. Bummer, dead game at the wire but struggling, just thought he was out of gas.theyll be devastated in Lexington.
