Would you support an equestrian supply company whose principals steal commissions from their representatives?

Hey, Mean Girl. I don’t spend a lot of time on here tossing shade to folks I don’t know. It’s in litigation so no details to provide.
Wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with a similar situation in the business.
I was a regional sales manager for a national manufacturing company (electrical equipment), I was paid a small base but was commission sales agent…Everything was spelled out by contract as the commission rate varied by client’s volume, my account was balanced monthly. Every sales invoice for all sales in my territory were supplied with my statement (Best paying job I had working for some one else)
But everything was in black and white, on paper so if/when a question came about it could easily be addressed.
Usually mere customers have no idea what squabbles with employees are going on behind the scenes. Most of the semicustom saddle companies churn through reps pretty regularly. It can’t be a great job in many instances.
As far as “steal commissions,” if I was going to consciously boycott a brand for unethical compensation practices, I’d want to know a lot more, I wouldn’t do it on a rumor.

Thanks for sharing your experience.
As a customer, I’m interested in the product and service. If a particular company’s employees aren’t being paid as agreed and that negatively impacts the products and services I want to buy then I may choose to take my business elsewhere.
I’d be a lot more concerned (and more likely to investigate) about stolen commissions if I was seeking employment.
if this is under litigation I will decide when the verdict is reached. Until then you only have the word of certain person/people or rumor

Oh, so sorry. Is this a post about the employer you used to spam the pages with? Artemis USA? I wonder how they would feel being in active litigation and having a former employee making claims of non payment with no substantiated proof on an international, public, equine specific forum.
