If you have tried Confidence EQ pheremone gel to introduce a young horse to hunting, please comment on your experience with it.
I have used it for paper chases and hunter paces (not the same as actual hunting, I know) on nervous horses and felt it did help take the edge off. Was it magic and the horses were suddenly totally quiet and relaxed? No.
Do practice being able to touch the inside of the nostrils beforehand though! One horse (not mine), I wound up wearing more of it than the horse I think.
