Conformation critic, Long Pasterns?

Your boy Hawk has some length to his pasterns but they are strong and upright vs soft, more angled. I would advise being very proactive with any soft tissue injury to carefully ultrasound, or even better ultra sound once a yr regardless. Even a pinhole detected should be addressed asap. Other than precaution he should be able to function normally. Just don’t go legging him up in a freshly disked farm field like someone I used to know did, and instantly regretted.

and p.s. he is very button cute!

Given the very large amount of TB found in QH breeding, I would only be surprised if a QH didn’t show TB traits. Going back a few years now, Dash For Cash, deemed full QH, was 3/4 TB if you look on his pedigree. Three Bars, a foundation stallion, was a successful TB racehorse before being used to breed QH. “Foundation QH” specifically exclude TB blood, I think, off the top of my head.
