Looking for a youngster to buy. I like a lot about this one but need some opinions on him. 2 year old colt.
Dressage goals with trail riding and hacking on the side. Would love to get to PSG someday but don’t have to win, just have fun and be correct.

Two years olds can be really pretty and through growing and pretty rough looking because they are going to be big and are still going through growth stages. How does the horse move and how is its canter?

Looks balanced while moving. Steps under himself.
Only thing I’m really seeing that has me slightly worried is he’s a bit sickle hocked. I’m not sure if that’s something he’ll outgrow. Or if not, how serious it is for my hopes for him.

Agreed, two year olds I think are the worse age to judge at because they are wonky in their growth. Sire and dam info can greatly help.
Was the colt presented for inspection as a weanling? Those comments are good to have as well.
