Congrats to Mollie, 23 year old winner of Luhmuhlen

Wow. Congrats to Mollie Summerland, 23 years old from Great Britain.

Winning Luhmuhlen from start to finish, with no support staff, groom or trainer, is absolutely incredible. She videoed the course walk to her trainer so they could provide voice notes back. Amazing!

Also special to read that the top 3 finishers were all bought and produced by their riders as 4 year olds.

Major congrats to Mollie. Incredible future ahead of her. Would be rough being a British Selector right now!

Hats off to Tilly and EN also, who made following their journey from afar feel like I was right on the trip with them. Great writing.

And two other young British riders were in the mix, Emilie Chandler, 6th, and David Doel, 10th and 12th. Impressive even getting there, given that travel restrictions from the UK were so hard to navigate.
