Congratulations to the German team for the team eventing gold.
Curious as to why the Brits wear the velvet hats for the awards ceremony. I presume they didn’t wear them throughout.

Hear, hear.
They’ve given the world a lesson on how to ride, in all three phases. They are an inspiration.
They sure are…tough to beat!
And to Michael Jung!

It was a great competition, and so much fun to watch.
If I had a Patey hat, I’d wear it every chance I got.
Waiting for any video of the phases to hit YouTube. I wasnt able to watch ANY of it, due to not being able to register on the NBC site. I remember when I got my DVR and thought "Yeah! I’ll never have to watch a major horse race/Event on YouTube again!
Fail.
Neigh-Neigh–If you can call your provider and make sure you can register on the NBC site, you can still see it all. I just got on two days ago and have been catching up on the six hours of eventing dressage (OK, I started to skip), XC, and stadium each. You should be able to go see the full coverage of all events at your leisure.
I have to say, I am super impressed with the quality of the video. I’m watching it all on my computer as I walk around and do chores.
