Consignment Contract needed for training and sale

Hello Cothers, I am a long-time reader and viewer of all the Forum Topics and have gathered many great tips and ideas for horse care and training. This is my first post as I am struggling to take a serious step toward partnering to finish and sell a lovely hunter. I have utilized several professionals in the past and have found that full training board trumps commission when placing a horse to sell. Next steps are a possible consignment arrangement for training, showing, and sale. However, I would not do this without a contract that spells out who pays for what. I would willingly have a lawyer set up but need something to bring to them to start with as equine verbiage is a unique language. Or, if there are any COTHers/equine lawyers who have such a thing I would love a pm to start me in the right direction. Looking to ensure fair practice on both sides of this arrangement.

If you are in a state that Kelly MacQueen serves, she is awesome and will work with you to get all of your concerns addressed in the contract. https://macqueenequinelaw.com/
