Consignment Gear?

I’m certain this has been asked at some point, but my search function is being temperamental today, so I thought I’d inquire for myself.

Apart from trolling EBay UK for used melton coats, are there any tack shops with used hunt apparel viewable online? I’m a member of a couple of Fb group, but nothing has come up in my size.

Anyway, two things that have helped me:
-Post a “wanted” ad on the FB groups. Lots of people will part with things they haven’t posted.
-Middleburg Tack will check their racks, describe what they have in terrific detail, and ship to you to try it on (on your dime, so know what to ask).

I second posting a ISO post on a Facebook page. I’ve had lots of luck that way with our local equestrian community. Unfortunately, many consignment shops don’t post items online because it is time consuming and items are coming in and out so frequently.

I have purchased items from Middleburg Tack Exchange. They don’t list items online, but I called about some specific things and they emailed me very detailed photographs of several items. And, they gave me the option to return the items if they did not suit me. I’m sure there was a time limit for the return, but it would have been much easier than an eBay return. They knew their stuff, I’m sure they could assist you reasonably skillfully re: sizing of hunt jackets.
