Coolest/Least Heat-Holding Leg Protection

I’d love thoughts on whether there is a boot that comes to mind.

Mare is exceptionally base narrow behind. Fetlock boots for U/S work as been the norm and a non-negotiable for a decade. She has chronic windpuffs, likely in part from lightly rapping herself going around the field (out 24/7). After a year of trying alternatives (tweaking trim, durable, new farrier, adjusting diet, addressing hocks/stifles) it is clear that she goes best in hind shoes. It was a pretty immediate change with willingness to step under with the hindered and confidence over changing terrain.

Hind shoes increase my concern about interference. I know that a horse cannot live in leg protection 24/7…right? Even 12 hours when she is most active feels like it could mitigate some issues. Getting staff to be on board may be another barrier since it is a bare bare bones facility.

Are there any boots designed for longer wearing? Has anyone tried boots on 24/7? Think that bell boots may be worth considering for some nominal barrier? Fetlock boots? open fronts? galloping boots?

Ideas I’ve seen online:
Uhlan airflow boots
PEI mud fever boots
veredus e-vento (apparently have good research behind it but am I really going to pay $230 for turnout boots?!)
equilibrium tri-zone all sport boots (less price but still $130 for turnout boots. ouch)
limeux mesh brushing

I would try a fetlock ring before doing boots for 12+ hours. I do have the Trizone boots and they are very nice and well ventilated, but Ihaven’t turned out in them.
A few others also do mesh type brushing boots.

Fetlock…ring?!?!

How have I never heard of this? What rock have I been under. It’s on Dover for goodness sake.

These LeMieux boots are meant for turnout. My horse is currently wearing them 24-7 to protect her leg that is healing from a bad laceration. She does sweat under them on really hot days though.
