I am looking for a good quality corgi breeder in Florida. NOT a random backyard breeder… Does anyone have any good recommendations? Thank you so much!!!
PS.
(Please don’t preach to me about rescue dogs- yes I know millions need good homes. )

We live in Tampa and just lost our awesome P. Corgi…are you looking for P or C Corgi?
Ours came from a long line of Ch and herding titles…

Does that mean a rescue Corgi isn’t something you would go for? I bought my current Corgi from a breeder; but my previous was a purebred from a Corgi rescue.
I googled breeders, looked at their sites thoroughly, then emailed with a bunch of questions. I was concerned with health so I asked if they tested parents for: DM, VWD, CERF and OFA.
If a rescue Corgi fits the bill I’m willing to help research rescues in your area.
Another thing to consider would be possibly meeting a breeder at a show. Depending on what age/what kind of corgi you want, you might be able to look a little more out of state and then meet at a show. A lot of the cardi breeders and handlers I know head down to FL for dog shows in the winter, so that would be convenient.
If you or anyone wants more info on cardigan welsh corgis, I will sing their praises 'til the cows come home (and the cardis are there nipping at their heels)!
